Senator Simpson (R-WY) has served as Minority Whip since 1984.  He was elected to office in 1978 and has served for three terms.  Simpson is ranking member of the Judiciary Committee, and serves on the Environment and Public Works Committee, the Veterans' Affairs Committee, and the Special Committee on Aging.  Mr. Simpson has focused on immigration reform, environmental protection, veterans affairs and health care reform.
